The Song

Sunday, January 21, 2007 3:08 am

Same Difference is a lot of things to a lot of people. Same Difference has inspired us all in some way.

Same Difference has already been a poem, and now it’s a song.

Susannah Cragwick wrote this song about Same Difference, and it carries on the message that Same Difference is dedicated to bringing to the world.

Kevin recorded Susannah performing her song on January 20, 2007. After we heard the song a couple times we decided that it needed video montage to accompany it, so we got to work, using photos from the Same Difference 2006 Summer Camp. It turned out so nicely we had to share immediately.

You can watch the video on the song page. You can also download the video in WMV format and the song in mp3 format to your own computer.

Same Difference is a lot of things–it’s an inspiration. It’s our revolution….

Seussical Photos & More

Wednesday, January 3, 2007 2:41 pm

Melissa sent out an email regarding the photos from Seussical so I thought I’d post quick-like and give a quick run-down.

The entire set of Seussical photos are here.

I started out naming every picture, but there are 332 of them so it was taking forever. I uploaded them all for now, and we will go through at some point and label who is who and all that good stuff. Some of them are a little blurry but I threw out more than I uploaded–there were some really blurry ones.

Also, our account at flickr is set up so that anyone who is our contact can order prints of our pictures right from the website and have them delivered via mail.

…So if you have a Yahoo! account (email address, or anything else) you can just add a flickr account to it. If you don’t–you can create one. (Joining flickr is free, you just have to pay to upload more than 200 photos. Or for the prints you order.)

So if you create a flickr account, add Same Difference as a contact, we’ll add you back and then you’ll be able to order prints of any of the photos we have online.

If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment and we’ll help you out.

Here are some of our favorites from Seussical:

Same Difference the Poem

Monday, November 20, 2006 4:49 pm

This poem was written by Jocelyn Mosman, who performed in the Same Difference play on the Same Difference trip to Odessa, Texas.

Same Difference

People are people, no matter what kind.
No matter what color or shape you will find.
It makes no difference if you’re big or small.
It doesn’t matter if you’re short or tall.
Everyone’s different, so nobody’s perfect.
Only God is perfect- last time I checked.
Everyone smiles in the same language, there’s no need to put up a fence.
Because no matter who you are or what you look like compared to others, just say, “Same Difference!”
